A Closer Look At Online Reviews

Hey there! Just wanted to pass along a few quick thoughts about online reviews.

They sure have become important, haven’t they? I’d say that at least 80% of the fine folks who knock at our virtual front door have either found us by searching the main review sites for us (Wedding Wire and Yelp), or by searching us at Google and then looking us up at the review sites before contacting.

That’s a huge change in how people buy, and we are happy to say that it has proven to be a boon to us here at Sound In Motion.In our area, we are one of the most reviewed DJ companies, and until very recently, we never even asked for clients to review us - it just happened. The good news is that, thank goodness, our reviews are very, very good overall. And, in my personal opinion, the most impressive thing is that these excellent reviews are not just for one or two “stars” of the company: you will find over two dozen of our staff individually called out for excellence across our reviews!

We are most proud of that because we think it is a huge indicator of a company culture that fosters the highest level of training in our industry and the strongest commitment to customer service that we can possibly put forth. The fact that so many of our people have these excellent reviews shows that our system is a success, which is, in my opinion, something that is harder to achieve than individual success.
