Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo as we all know in the USA is a day when we celebrate Mexico's independence.

Although the real day to celebrate is September 16th which is the actual day Mexico's independence was won. You will see this being celebrated by a parade of vehicles with Mexican flags, loud music and of course the smell of Carne Asada (bbq).

If you wanted to partake in celebrating this event, here are some fun ways of authenticating it. Go to your nearest MiPueblo or Chavez Super Market order some preparada carne arrachera (seasoned flap meat), pico de gallo, guacamole, and corn tortillas. Get an ice chest full of Modelo beer or squirt with Cazadores tequila to make some drinks. That takes care of the food and beverages.

Traditionally you would want to play some mariachi music, in specific. They are a world renounced Mariachi group. You could also opt out for some Banda, which include artist like Banda el Recodo or Los Recoditios, perhaps Banda MS. All which are popular bands that have been around for generations.

The most important thing about celebrating Cinco de Mayo is to remember that drinking and driving is never an option. Safe celebrating from your friends at Sound In Motion!
