It was March 31, 1985 when the first Wrestlemania took place inside Madison Square Garden in NYC. Some of the names on the card were Hulk Hogan, Mr. T, Rowdy Roddy Piper and Jimmy “Super Fly” Snuka.

Wrestlemania 3 – featured Hulk Hogan battling Andre’ The Giant in front of 93,173 fans at the Pontiac Silverdome. This was the largest attended wrestling match in the history of the WWE.

Wrestlemania 29 took place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford New Jersey. It was the second time in two years that The Rock & John Cena slugged it out.

Wrestlemania 31 takes place this Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. This year’s main event features Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns. The other highlight match will feature Triple H & the return of Sting.

There are some tickets still available for Wrestlemania. They are expecting over 70,000 people to attend this high profile event.

1987 - Hulk Hogan (c) vs. King Kong Bundy in a Steel Cage match for the WWF Championship

1988 - Randy Savage vs. Ted DiBiase for the vacant WWF Championship

1998 - Shawn Michaels (c) vs. Steve Austin for the WWF Championship with special guest Mike Tyson

2000 - Triple H (c) vs. The Rock vs. Big Show vs. Mick Foley in a Fatal Four-Way Elimination match.
