Your Music At The Right Times Of The Event

Throughout the year we work with many different clients and of course music is top of mind for them.

Some people love to give us a basic idea of what they like and let us run loose. Others give us a handful of favorites for dancing and then ask us to encourage requests from the guests at the event. Then we get client who ABSOLUTELY loves music and has a vision of what the wedding day should sound like. Now this gets interesting. I recently had this client and it was an exercise in defining each part of the wedding day with her, putting the right songs in their appropriate places and assembling her musical vibe into an entire evening to make original and fun.

We don’t expect everybody to be as passionate about music but we can give you a lot of suggestions based on your taste in music.

The Ceremony – We are seeing a lot of different styles when it comes to pre ceremony and ceremony music. There is of course the classical pieces that never get old and then we have an original sounding ceremony:

Pre Ceremony – Normally about 20 minutes of music.

Here’s a really cool version of Coldplay’s Viva La Vida done by Eric Wuest

Bridal Party Entrance – Ben Harper – Forever

Bride’s Processional - The Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Wedding Song (Acoustic)

Bride And Groom Recessional – Lauryn Hill – Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You

Hopefully this will inspire you to be creative when it comes to your wedding music!
