“I’ve Never Heard This Version” is a very common comment I get when I’m performing at events. Why? Because I’m playing cool cover versions of songs! Some music snobs hate the thought of bands doing covers but this ritual has gone on for over 75 years. Are there really bad covers? ABSOLUTELY!! Are there some really really good ones? HECK YEAH!

So as you plan your event – Feel free to include some different versions of songs. You’ll be surprised the positive response you’ll get from friends. There are some fantastic songs that can be used during different parts of your event. The most popular places tend to be during cocktail hour and dinner time is perfect for this sound. All of us at Sound In Motion encourage creativity and just being different DARN IT!!
