Where did you grow up?
Santa Cruz, Ca
What “lesson from mom” do you still live by today?
I’m not to sure about a lesson, but she has supported my film making aspirations since I was thirteen and I would have never accomplished what I have without her.
How old were you when you first thought “videography would be fun”?
I was 13. I made a short horror film in the desert which scared my family when I screened it for them. After that moment I knew filmmaking would be my life.
What are some of your favorite videos you have produced?
My most proud accomplishment is my feature “Sator” which took me five years to complete and will have it’s world premiere in Canada summer of 2019.
Is there a videographer (or film maker) that inspires you?
Too many to choose just one. Current inspirations are: Stanley Kubrick, Nicolas Winding Refn, David Lynch, Cary Fukunaga, Jeremy Saulnier, Gaspar Noe, Lars Von Trier, Yorgos Lanthimos, Panos Cosmatos, Sean Baker, Benny and Josh Safdie, Ruben Ostlund, Joel & Ethan Coen, Paul Thomas Anderson, David Fincher.
What is your favorite food establishment and what is your GO TO meal there?
Smoked Salmon at the Crows Nest. But the go to meal in Santa Cruz is the Hoisin Pork sandwich at Charlie Hong Kong.

If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Exploring Italy. This is my absolute favorite place in the entire world. I proposed to my wonderful lady there too!
