Here's a little bit about our own Matthew Cope!

Where did you grow up?  

San Jose, CA (in the Almaden area; went to Pioneer high School then Sacramento State University)

What “lesson from mom” do you still live by today?

To play from my heart and always enjoy life

What were some of your favorite songs in Junior High and High School?  Include any embarrassing songs!

I was a rocker back in the day and listened to tons of classic rock, metal, grunge and alt rock - Alice in Chains, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Faith No More

If I were to jump in your car today, what would we be listening to?

Probably NPR or the comedy stations on Sirius XM, lol

If you could be the lead singer of any band, who would it be? 

Probably Alice in Chains or Faith No More just because I have been singing those for decades

What is your favorite food establishment and what is your GO TO meal there?

Sandwiches, sandwiches, sandwiches. I love Erik's Delicafe, and the Abbott's Habbit is a must try! :)

If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Any of the ancient ruins in South America, but Machu Piccu most of all

What is the one thing you hope people will remember about you?

My love for life. It is a limited gift and we all have a special perspective in it.
